My favorite Musume is now 17 years old, my love for her is slowly becoming less and less ephebophic and more of a ‘normal’ love affair, obviously this is a good thing yet part of me wants her to stay in permanent puberty, I want her to stay random and spazzy … a mature Koharu just wont do, there must be some type of hormone or drug we can feed her, lets just laminate the girl.

Seriously whats the deal with idols getting older? Maasa recently turned 17 also … it’s terrible, before we know it all the h!p girls will be dead and buried.

Anyhoos Koharu celebrated her birthday in fine style … with Thomas the fucking tank engine! how awesome is that? … it totally pisses all over my last birthday ‘party’ which consisted of getting blind drunk in some seedy night club surrounded by fat goths and awful music.

When I was a young warthog my mother decorated my bedroom with Thomas the tank engine wallpaper and bed spread, it was awesome … and it still is awesome, well that was like 20 years ago now … god I’m old … I’ll be dead before you know it.

Anyway since when was Thomas the tank engine popular in Japan? I thought he was just a British thing … much like queuing, shitty food and wankers for prime ministers.

Is Thomas really popular in Japan? have you seen him recently? he looks like a schizophrenic crack head

And have you seen Diesels face? he looks like a sex offender … I feel molested by just looking at his ungodly face

4-2

Is Thomas the tank engine popular in America/Canada? looking back on it all, talking steam engines are kinda scary stuff … seriously what were they thinking? it’s amazing I turned out OK … oh wait.

My last 2 posts have consisted of a video, so why should this post be any different?

Enjoy my Koharu birthday video! mostly consisting of photos from the event and what not.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOAHRU!!! :B

  1. Tommy is a major part of a japanese kids storybook time, along with Postman Pat and Enid Blyton’s Noddy – according to my Nipponese friend here… hmm.. how true i dunno… am to lazy to do a google search..

the regular Tommy’s face is too perverted too, along with Diesels…. he is getting ready for some nice Koha lovin… :P

She is likely to stay crackheaded… not becoming mature anytime soon…

Here in the states I think everything in the world of Tomas and his friends are mainly popular amongst the 5 years and younger crowds. Just due to fact that parents today still reference Tommy the trains ever inspiring quote “I think I can, I think I can” when toilet training their children. Encouraging the little tikes to withstand adversity even when squeezing out a brown locomotive. But as far as how in the hell this relates to Koharu, I don’t know. Was it her idea to spend her 17th birthday their? I think it may have been cool to go maybe the day after I learned how to shit on my own but Tommy’s a one line act that doesn’t need mentioning ever again, especially when your a year off of becoming an adult. But who knows, maybe her kirari fans were proud to see to two childhood heroes together fighting the good fight. But koharu looks good and tommy and diesel both look unaware that they’re even at a birthday party.

Thomas has been popular there(and here in America) for some time. While in the Navy, the last 2 years I was in I was stationed in Guam. Half the time we would be sent to Yokouska and Sasabo Japan to work on the ships there. On one expedition I got a thomas the tank engine train set with lots of track for my nephew. that was ‘95-96.

Thomas encourages defecation? I wonder if I can buy this? …

Rick that sounds like quite an adventure , I find it quite surprising that Thomas is known in Japan … I guess its like a poor mans gundam.

Thomas is definitely big in Japan. One of the Japanese groceries here (California) recently had some Thomas-themed chocolates for sale, which I gleefully picked up for a friend’s 2-year-old who couldn’t imagine anything cooler than chocolate train-faces.

    @ shirow
oh yeah, Thomas is classic bathroom material here in the states. Just watch the 1993 movie Dennis the Menace http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-ABIN4ndUE at 8:10 and you’ll see how encouraging it’s meant to be. Even though the book they’re reading is Huffy the little mail train, it’s still the train that is the symbol of overcoming self doubting obstacles. Ex. Using the potty.

I grew up here in the states and there used to be a show on public television called Shining Time Station… the show was kinda hokey but it featured Thomas the Tank Engine stories as told by “Mr. Conductor”, first portrayed by Ringo, then by George Carlin. As far as I know, this was before they merchandised the heck out of Thomas; now he’s everywhere. But George Carlin on a kid’s show? Stroke of genius. He seemed like such a nice guy.

I was a big Thomas the tank engine fan in my youth, had the curtains and everything. But yeah, Diesel does look like a rapist.

That video made me laugh so hard, the 50 cent/Thomas mash up is genius

Finally someone who uses the term ephebophilia instead of pedophilia! There’s a difference, dammit! XD

Lol, loved the video! And those trains with faces creep me out!
