I uploaded a preview of this video onto veoh 4 days ago so I already had a brief idea of what to expect from this video.
The dance for the video seems to be fairly simplistic, infact it looks like something I would atempt after a few drinks.
The begining of the video the girls just jump up and down waggling their fingers at me … I feel as if they are telling me off for looking at their short skirts…
A majority of the video is dedicated to the girls just carelessly jumping around waving their arms about … which isnt a bad thing at all because it fits quite well with the jumpy fast paced music.
There seems to be an ongoing theme with the Buono! PV’s with Momoko being targeted for her height and her played out ‘idiocy’ … there are numerous shots of Momoko jumping up high to reach the chalk board or to clean the school corridors, theres also a cute scene of the girls all reading books, Momoko seems to be the only girl with a childrens book (which probably sums up her idol mentality quite well).
The girls main outfits look great, there seems to be a continuity with their style which is the ‘punked up fashionable school girl’ look.
Airi looks adorable with her braces and baker boy style hat, Momoko has some really pretty pink knee high socks, and Miyabi’s short tartan skirt complete with large white chain all go together quite nicely indeed.
Its good to see they have avoided wearing clothing that has English profanity … although I must admit the pictures of Miyabi with her ‘Rock like fuck’ and Momoko’s ‘Stuffing fucking junk food in your mouth’ were quite hilarious.
Overall I think the song is really catchy, and the video is extremely cute and colourful, which basicly sums up my thoughts on Buono!, they rock!.

As the title suggests I will be talking about a variety of subjects today, luckily the subjects involve my recent purchases from the lovely (financially crippling) world of Hello! project, hooray!
At various times in the past weeks my door bell has been ringing, this either means that a person wants to sell me gas/electricity or theres a fat middle aged postman bearing glorious gifts for me, luckily its been the latter, there have been a few close scrapes when my dogs have almost grabbed the packages and atempted to eat them … but I’ve managed to save them with my crazy ninja skills, not only have I saved the packages but I’ve also saved myself a drive to the glue factory with my dogs in tow.
First up are 2 photobooks of the absolutely beautiful captivating elegant hotpant wearing nosebleed inducing Yajima Maimi, from the start I’ve always admired Maimi, she has always come across as very mature and continues to lead C-ute into success.
Both of these photobooks are filled with page after page of absolute beauty, she wears a number of seifukus, yukatas and swimsuit bikini’s throughout, I consider these photobooks an absolute necessity for anyone who thinks they can define beauty.

Next up is a C-ute photoset from the the 2008 wonderful hearts concert, all of the girls look brilliant in these outfits and as I write this I’ve decided to watch that concert later tonight, for those of you that have not seen C-ute perform ‘Tokaikko Junjyou’ at the wonderful hearts concert I strongly suggest you do so now.

Tokunga Chinami is without a doubt my favorite Berry, I’ll resist the urge to type a long rant (for now) and just post a selection of wonderful photos that now reside in my shrine…

I’ve been trying to hunt down sets from the VERY BEAUTY photo shoots for quite a while, so when I saw this set for sale I struck it like the fist of an angry god.
I’m not overtly keen on the actual song itself because I prefare berry tracks to be high powered and genki, the outfits from the video really do stand out for me, two of the most prominent features are Massa Sudo’s hair and Risako sugaya’s lace around her calves *ahem*.

Recently Haromoni has perked up considerably and has actually been extemely enjoyable to watch, one of its charms is that the girls of Morning musume wear a different outfit each week, my good Friend Lolli was kind enough to send me a photo of Risa Nigaki in a slick dark suit, I’ll have to repay the kind gesture when I meet her in London later in the year.

As I’ve said previously, Sakura Mankai is one of the best berryz Kobo concerts they have ever done, so I thought I would pick up some venue exclusive merchandise!
Apparently these were never for sale online or in the shops, so I’m quite happy to put them into my collection.

Massa Sudo is without a doubt a very unique and special girl, she is probably in joint second with Momoko as my second favorite berry, below are a great selection of photos that I managed to get my hands on … some cost a fair bit … but ever penny is worth it.

I find this photo adorable, its as if Massa is accepting a marriage proposal from Chinami, what makes this photo more interesting is that Massa and Chinami are the biggest tomboys in berryz Kobo, so when I saw this photo for sale I jumped at it.

This photo is taken from the performance of ‘Aiin’ from the Wonderful hearts concert, everytime I look at this photo I instantly smile at Massa’s confidence and awesomeness, can you look at this photo and not be inspired by her? I doubt it.

Massa wearing a suit is not to be taken lightly, I saw this photo a while ago and have been trying to find out where it came from, after about 2 months of searching I found out it came from here, I hope you enjoy the video as much as I did!.

And last up is something quite special indeed, after seeing Morning berryz fine set of balls I knew that I had to get my hands upon them by any means, after she explained to me that she was unwilling to part with her fine set of balls I decided to go hunting on yahoo auctions, and luckily I managed to secure myself a Momoko Tsugunaga Baseball!.
It really is quite a unique and special piece of h!p merchandise, probably one of the most interesting things in my collection, maybe one day I’ll have the balls to rival ‘Morning berryz’ … but until that day I’ll just sit here any play with my own.

My first ever experience of Momoko (and Berryz Kobo) was with the promotional video for the eloquently named single ‘Gag 100 kaibun Aishite Kudasai’ the English translation basicly means ‘Please Love Me as Much as 100 Jokes’ … yeah, sometimes I wish people would love me that much also, one can dream.
Now my first thoughts of Momoko were … has she ingested massive amounts of helium? how can a girl sing so high without inverting her trachea?, as a vocalist she certainly is unique and stands out like crazy … but thats the thing about Momoko … you can’t ignore her, and quite frankly why on earth would you want to?.
My ‘fanboyism’ for Momoko has been a slowly rolling snowball so to speak, most of my attention has always been directed towards the absolutely adorable Tokunga chinami (but my rant about her is for another time).
I dont think I could pin point the moment when I began to appreciate Momoko, it was a slow affair then one day it was like POW!! … I was totally infatuated by her, I now find her high powered genki voice extremely addictive, she also seems to have so much energy and abides by the ‘idol etiquette’ flawlessy.
Her photobooks really show her quirky, genki and somewhat naive side, I’m quite happy to leaf through them frequently and be totally absorbed again and again by her momo-licous-ness.
Recent videos of her really capture my attention, her solo version for the’Dschinghis Khan PV‘ show how much energy she has towards the camera, and also captures her beautiful unique eyes.
Her hilarious acting from the C-ute Magazine Vol.5 will make you lol hard … Momoko’s pinky is serious business yo!
I could go on and on and rant until the cows came home .. but I’ll stop now and leave you with a link to her digital photobook that came out yesterday, along with a few choice preview shots.

Momoko digital photobook

After 5 (count them) 5 whole years Miki Fujimoto has finally released a much needed and desperately awaited single which is called ‘Oki Tegami’ which basicly translates to ‘open letter’.
I (like many others) are very very happy to see Miki return after her extended ‘hiatus’and are hoping she can again wow us with her impressive vocal range and decadent beauty.
Now as the song starts we are treated to a beautiful piano segment which is slowly drawn into some lovely string arrangements, Miki’s voice starts to delicately float along the piano notes, from the first 30 seconds of this track I am already captivated by Miki’s voice … which instantly leads to the thoughts of ‘damnit …why isnt she in Morning musume anymore?’ … they need more strong vocalists! … but thats a rant for another day.
The video is a fairly simple low budget affair but it manages to capture the mood and feeling of the song, the mood being ‘I’m sad … yet optimistic’ … well I’m taking a wild guess at that, but Im sure its something along those lines … she could be singing about rat poison for all I know.
Throughout the video Miki goes through about 3 different emotions which are reflected on her face, the first expression is ‘Im sad’ the second is ‘Im a lonely puppy please dont leave me’ and the third being ‘Im going to boil your bunny rabbit and pour acid all over your car’, Hell hath no fury like a Miki scorned, and she is one of the last females on the planet I would want to piss off.
All in all its brilliant to see her back, its a beautiful track that really displays her more reserved vocal style, I’m curious if any of her future work will involve a ‘boogie train’ approach? but I guess the burning question is when her and Aya will continue with their pseudo lesbian affair … I for one will be waiting with baited breath.

Ahhhh Kago … my first true h!p love, The Japanese news site www.ohmynews.co.jp has been conducting an interview with the ex Morning Musume idol.
Below is a video of her being interviewed, apparently theres going to be six video interviews in total (the last video is going to be posted on the 12th of April).
Here is a brief translation of what was said (credit to Kuno & Skeez) …

“I was 17 years old back then. I wasn’t self-conscious enough to become a proper working adult. To all the fans, staff, office workers, as well as my mother, I have troubled you very much. There’s no excuse for what I did. I’m going to start anew, upholding my duties properly. I want to live strongly. I would be be happy to have your support.

My mother and father divorced on that day. At that time, when I was down, my boyfriend had gone far away. I’d known him for a while, and I was close to him. He lived nearby, in Kusatsu (prefecture). I said I wanted to go, but since there was so much snow, going by car would be dangerous. So we went and stayed at the Japanese inn.”

From the photographs released is quite evident she is taking care of herself, shes looking very mature in her blue and white top, she looks very different of how she used to look.
I guess as the week goes on we shall find out whats going on in her life and see if she has any ideas of returning to the hectic world of j pop? I for one have my fingers and toes crossed.
