The International Wota awards are over and Wotaku Now has won the most coveted awards!

How amazing is that?  when I first started this blog I never thought it would become even slightly popular and I’m amazed its still going considering how lazy and drunk I always am.

I am eternally grateful for everyone that voted for me, and hope you all continue checking my stuff in the future.

This place is only possible due to Paul’s (Hello! Blog) generosity in hosting the place,  I went down to London at the weekend to meet up with  him and other bloggers/idol enthusiasts, the weekend consisted mostly of alcohol, karaoke, Chinese food and more alcohol, happy times!

There’s a plan this year for a big wota meet up at a theme park (probably Alton towers) so if you live in the UK or are visiting you should totally come along and get drunk with us all.

Last year I was amazed to win the ‘best new blog‘ award from International Wota, although it didn’t win me any money or women, I was still really happy knowing that people voted for me above other great blogs.

I like to think Wotaku Now! has come along way since then,  It’s almost been two years now since I started blogging and I’m amazed people still enjoy my stuff, I’m thankful to everyone who comments with such warm words and encouragement.

This year International Wota is doing another awards festival and I’ve been nominated for 3 awards:

Considering I haven’t updated this place in over 2 weeks I felt kinda bad so I decided to make a comeback with a much needed installment of LOLSUBS.

C-ute’s latest single SHOCK caused many fans to bitch and moan about Airi stealing all the lines and screen time (which she did) so I thought it would be amusing to create something based on what people have been saying about it.

My actual thoughts on the single are pretty much represented within the LOLSUBS video.

I’ve been having major technical issues on this video for over 6 solid hours so I hope you find it amusing … because I do :3

Right now I feel partially brain damaged because of the massive amount of alcohol I consumed last night, I polished off a bottle of jagermeister and necked around 7 trillion bottles of beer, because I’m a responsible kinda guy I’ve decided to start drinking again. I do not live in the world of sobriety.

ANYWAY

Wired.com is hosting a poll to find out who the ’sexiest geek’ of 2009 is!

So I call upon everyone to go there now and vote for Takahashi Ai … like right now, DO IT!!!!!

Aichan’s apparent ‘geekiness’ is warranted by her Final Fantasy fandom … I’m not really sure if that makes her a geek or not but I totally agree with her being sexy, who can disagree with that?

THAT my friends is the delightfully pert posterior of Rika Ishikawa taken from her recently released photobook  ‘Twenty Four’.

The reason most people buy photobooks is for the visual feast of flesh, and with Rika’s photobooks the feast is always sumptuous and delicious.

Although this might come across as shallow (because I am) the only thing I enjoy about Rika is her body, her singing/idol voice get right on my nerves and come across to me as fake and whiney.

Certain idols should be seen and not heard, Rika is one of them, Mitsui Aika is another … actually Aika should probably not be seen or heard at all.

Although I bitch, if I had the opportunity to see her perform live I would probably attend, I’m not exactly the biggest H&A fan but I do believe in promoting idols and supporting them when possible.

Rika Ishikawa probably has the second finest butt in Hello! Project history, can you guess who the first is?
